Teachings and intercultural collaborations
Artistic and cultural education
Whether in Europe or Africa, I have led several masterclasses for a wide range of audiences: children, teenagers, adults, whether they are professionals, amateurs, or art students. My goal is, of course, to pass on my expertise, but more importantly, to stimulate imagination and creativity by exploring the many facets of the puppetry profession.
Since 2022, I have been leading an intercultural workshop every summer in Lyon, with the support of the DRAC Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes as part of the Ministry of Culture’s "Cultural Summer" program. The principle of these workshops is to invite an artist from a different cultural background to co-lead a masterclass with me at the Museum of Puppetry Arts in Lyon (Gadagne), along with a lecture to shed light on the cultural context in which the invited artist works.
Focus on Africa and Asia Pacific
In the context of generational renewal and the transition between traditional practices and the emergence of a rapidly growing contemporary art form, collaborations in Africa and the Asia-Pacific region have proven to be incredibly enriching.
