"The Maidan is alive, as if it were the rhythm of my heart" says young Ania as she searches for Orestes in the clandestine hospitals and medical centers of Kyiv. With the motto "freedom or death", she participated in the Dignity Revolution which gathered in Kyiv's Independence Square up to one million people from all over Ukraine in 2013- 2014.

Intertwining realities and forms of writing, relating both to agit-prop theatre, intervention theatre, testimonial theatre, reportage and the mystery of the Middle Ages, Maïdan Inferno follows the crossed destinies of revolutionaries Ukrainians from the intervention of armed para-military forces against them to the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
