"The Maidan is alive, as if it were the rhythm of my heart" says young Ania as she searches for Orestes in the clandestine hospitals and medical centers of Kyiv. Intertwining realities and forms of writing, relating both to agit-prop theatre, intervention theatre, testimonial theatre, reportage and the mystery of the Middle Ages, Maïdan Inferno follows the crossed destinies of revolutionaries Ukrainians from the intervention of armed para-military forces against them to the annexation of Crimea and the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
